That would be great. It's very convenient to maintain replicated services using 
ldap for the database. Our goal is to have CAS on campus and in the cloud also. 
Adding services is only one step using a replicated ldap db.

Thanks for speaking up. We'll attempt to support you in some regard. I 
will review what it would take to provide equivalent functionality in 
ldaptive and provide the component if feasible, otherwise we'll 
deprecate. We may move it to another package to isolate the spring-ldap 
dependency. Let me know if that plan is acceptable to you.
