Bleach. I don't have proportions (and they are important, since you want to kill bugs but not damage lines and pump seals), but in the past I've:
- added diluted bleach to the tank, let it sit for a while - drain, repeat - drain, repeat - flush out at least 3 times completely with fresh water when you are done. There may still be a bit left, but when you are talking a few tablespoons over 10+ gallons, it will not hurt you even if it tastes a bit "bleachy".
