Gentlemen     I have a question regarding a smelly engine. When I bought my 1989 c-27 last year it had been on the hard for at least a year closed up. It and everything in it had a heavy smell of old deisel fuel  (I think ). the bildge had oil or something in it also . over the summer I used one of those bildge cleaners and cleaned what i could reach with soft scrub etc.The engine does not appear to be leaking anything anymore. Over the winter I took the cushions home and cleaned them and got out all the smell.      Now that I have been down to the boat several times getting it ready for the season it seems that the smell is comming from  the engine compartment which I have not tried to clean. Does any one have any Ideas on how to clean around the engine etc. Bleach ,T.S.P, ?????.
