I'm pretty sure I used a heater hose from an auto parts store. My hose is starting to display the metal reinforcing as a shadow on the hose. I've never seen this before so, Is this normal?

--- Begin Message ------ Begin Message ---Hi all,I am replacing the kaput Sherwood water pump on my Universal M2-12 diesel this weekend and need to replace the hoses as well. Any particular kind I need to use? The former intake one looks more robust (lots of wires built inside it, a bear to take off, had to cut it) than the outtake; is this normal? Thanks for any info!Lori T1979 C27 # 4244"Summer Place"Barnegat Bay, NJ
