One other thing to remember is that - it is supposed to leak. If you tighten it up to much you'll really heat things up. Even a few drips a minute are acceptable. less is better than more in this case. (tell her that). You might be better off to concentrate on your bilge pump and auto switch. Good luck   Tommy,
