Lance - I am pretty sure that was put together by Carl Schaefer a few years back and ALL the boats on that list are racing boats and they require mast rake from the adjustable backstay. I am very surprised that Hi Tide's tensions are as high as shown. Please set up your boats (I assume by your title that you are setting the boats up to cruise) tighter than the attached.
