PAT yes you are cheating! But not by using Jib alone... you are cheating by living so close so you can sail twice daily! I am so envious, I am 1½ hours away from my boat and I feel it is a good week if I sail twice. Keep it up! Sail as much in whatever manor you can and keep on doing it for as long as possible...
