I had my auto pilot repaired by a local shop. Plastimo wanted me to return
it to France for a free estimate that would have cost me $170 to send and
probably as much to return. Local shop fixed it for $250. They said it's out of
their normal line of repairs but they will fix any and all equipment. Or at
least try! Beats the cost of shipping, repair and return shipping or the price
of a new one by a long shot.
