Hey Mark -

Just come up and play with us and don't bother the hassle of bringing a boat
north. There are plenty here and, worst case scenario, you would be much
better off chartering a locally, pretty well equipped boat than trying to
bring
one north, unless you idea of a good time is sailing a C27 the 2500 miles
from La to Annapolis in the heat of south in August....

At the last Nationals (2003) we had 25 boats and, yes there are a few
varieties, but 22-23 of the 25 boats are the standard rig outboard models.

We in Fleet 8 all race with the same OD configuration. Outboard, standard
rig. In the nationals a few years back we did accommodate inboard, non spin
and tall rigs in a "silver" fleet that raced with PHRF ratings, but didn't
really count towards the National title, or for that matter the Annapolis Race
Week dailies and overall.

TF - What do you think? Can we find some space for a southern interloper
on the Box of Toys? Of course we will have to ask the Dr. (Larry) about his
participation. Afraid Mike R. will be unavailable for next season as the
rumor is that Hi Tide will be back out, but I will see what I can do about a
5th.
Of course Mrs. Chris will be on board.

Long Live the C27 Nationals (even if we only do it in Annapolis every 5
years).
