I can confirm this is an usual group of people...hey, you're racing a 30
year old
cruising design...and probably the most fun of any of the OD fleets
around, usualy the group voted "favorite one design fleet" by the local
sailing press and/or the Race Committees. The 105 fleet is starting to be
a bit more friendly mainly due to crew being swapped back and
forth on a bunch of boats...that's the best way, in my opinion, to cement
group unity because
when someone does some dumbass move and incurs the rath of another
owner/driver, it's nice when someone in the crew says, "hey my buddy
so-and-so races on that boat and he says the owner is a good guy." etc
etc.

anyway, you will be gauranteed a great time if ya make the trip...unless
Charlie Scott
switches from a J35 to a Catalina27 and T-bones you first race and ruins
your regatta...
happened to a boat from Newport first day of the J35 NAC.
