Thanks again everyone for the great advice.  I did exactly as this  
suggested.  It was a lot less expensive.

I  replaced the gas tank on my 1975 C27.  It was in the rear  quarterberth.   
I replaced it with a "temporary" 6 gallon  Tempo tank in the cockpit 
lazarette, plumbed to the A4.  
 
If  you do that, keep as much weight forward as you can -- the extra weight 
in the  stern can make it squat a bit.  If the bow rises up a few inches, the  
ability to sail up wind will suffer because the bow will blow off  downwind.
