Not exactly an answer but a question/comment. I have the overhead, above the quaterberth, opened up to facilitate repair to the stbd. gunnel. I'm thinking of insulating the shallow stbd. locker and using it as a cockpit ice chest. Since I don't have the time, inclination or location to "cruise" my 27, I don't need a lot of stowage for extensive gear. Any comments/ideas?
