Chris, ever do the Governor's Cup (70 miles from Annapolis to St Mary's)?
That race makes the Solomons race seem like a walk in the park. I recall one
year just before nautical sunset seeing the spinnaker of the boat just ahead
explode and the rush we had getting the kite down. There were over 400
boats all racing south at the same time. Big ships (are there any small
ones when you are on a small sailboat) seeing hundreds of radar contacts in
what is normally an empty area first shinning their big light on the fleet
and then realizing what was in front of them shinning the light on their
hull. And then there is the party on Saturday night.

Is he sticking around for Screwpile? I might not mind a ride on a multi for
a day on Monday. But probably just hang at the pool and in the A/C.

Just looked at winds coming in from the south and it has totally shut down.
Poor bastards out there tonight.

Glad to be home.
