not to be a butthead, but I'm sort of at a loss as to why anyone would buy
or use a
bos'n's chair nowadays with all the more modern conveyances that are
available for just another 20 or 30 bucks.

It's one thing to have devices that are more comfortable, but it's wholly
another
matter that a modern climbing harness is about 200% safer...they are
virtually
impossible to fall out of...

I'm good for about 20 minutes in a chair until the board cuts off
circulation to my lower legs and I cant feel my own feet. A climbing
harness I can take for an hour, use my feet tactically and not feel like a
lump of meat being hoisted aloft.
