Regarding Rum... I buy Castillo's Gold in the VA ABC stores. I prefer it (to many other pricier brands); it's only $19 for a 1.75 L. Also, Cruzan has a black strap rum to compete with Goslings. I haven't tried it yet, but plan to and will make a report. Speaking of Dark and Stormy's (what else is black rum for?), Goya bottles a Ginger Beer that is first rate; best I've tried.
