Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge (MNWR) and Montezuma Wetlands Complex (MWC)
------------

     4/22 : 4 species of shorebirds including 3 AMERICAN GOLDEN PLOVERS were 
seen at VanDyne Spore Road. These birds were seen through 4/24.
     4/24: An EURASIAN WIGEON was seen at Tschache Pool.


Derby Hill
------------

     5,635 Hawks were counted this week. The best day was 4/21 with 2117 birds 
1907 of which were BROAD-WINGED HAWKS. On 4/22 a SANDHILL CRANE was seen.


Oneida Lake (Phillips Point) Watch.
------------

     Migrants are diminishing. WHITE-WINGED and SURF SCOTER are still being 
seen. The seasons first COMMON TERNS were seen today (4/26).


Oswego County
------------

     4/21: The first UPLAND SANDPIPER of the season was seen at the Oswego 
County Airport. On 4/26 three birds were seen.
     4/22: 2 COMMON RAVENS and an AMERICAN BITTERN were found on Depot Road.
     4/24: 2 BARRED OWLS and a SAW-WHET OWL were heard on Voorhies Road in 
Parish.
     4/26: An albino RED-TAILED HAWK was seen on County RT. 1. Probable 
breeding CLIFF SWALOWS were seen at a barn at the intersection of Whigg Hill 
and Morey Roads in West Monroe.


Madison County
------------

     4/24: At Ditchbank Road north of Chittenango PECTORAL SANDPIPER, COMMON 
SNIPE, and LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL were seen. Also on the 24th. an Audubon 
Field Trip along the link trail near Canastota yielded 32 species. Highlight 
was 3 LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSHES.


Oneida County
------------

      4/26: A LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSH was seen in the Camden area.
