The drought is terrible in most ways but there is one thing I appreciate about it. I can eat dinner on my screened porch, or walk around in my garden without hearing lawn mowers! My neighborhood has many HUGE lawns and most summers it is unusual to be outside without hearing at least one, often more. The quietness is wonderful!
