Salam everybody there is a great news: finally the Egyptian licenses are ready to go live! We owe a big thank to Hala and her team, and to Mohamed and Pierre who have helped review the licenses, and of course to Rami and Ziad from Jordan, on whose work the Egyptian team has built on in order to move forward the Egyptian porting Since this is a very important step for CC communities in the Arab world and since I know there is a lot of interest -and of questions, of course- concerning this topic and the various steps we have gone through to have these licenses ready, I would like to discuss all this in a community call as soon as possible before we give any official announcement about the porting Somebody from HQ, probably Diane Peters, our general counsel, and Aurelia who has been working on the review together with Hala, would like to join the call, make an intro and answer to your questions concerning the porting process from the HQ perspective Then Hala can explain the licenses and the adaptation process more in details, and I will ask her to do this in Arabic so everybody can get a better sense of the work Then we can have a discussion all together, we`ll use both English and Arabic since HQ people will be there and unfortunately dont understand Arabic This is a Doodle we have put together, apologies for the short notice but we are aiming at doing this as soon as possible inshallah http://doodle.com/6fypcs524r956hxeh625h6h6/admin?#table Looking forward to your feedback best dona
