Gabriel,

>From what I have heard Voice version 3.0 in comparison to version 2.0 is a
little easier. Not that the content is easier more that time management is
not as hard.

There are a lot of features in the new UCM software that have been designed
to make an administrators life easier and this then roles into the test.

Also if you have been watching the Voice list there have been a lot of
successful candidates with our workbooks with the new version. I would
continue with the path you have already started.

Going for either the R&S or Security is going to be a complete regroup for
you. We can definitely support you in that path but it may not be the best
option for you.

Subject: Re: [OSL | CCIE_RS] Which track, R&S or Sec? (Or Voice)

As a follow up for this post (I have a similar situation):

I took the the ccie voice lab (v2.0) last march and I failed. I few things
change in my career and I had to put the second attempt on hold.

Now I'm reassessing if I should try again the voice or I have better chances
for RS or Security to pass it in less attempts.

Most of my experience in voice; however I've had a lot of experience in
security. In RS, I have very little experience with BGP, OSPF and MPLS.

I'm thinking of the RS in lieu that the voice was so difficult specially for
the time management part.

Please let me know if someone can share some insight of what should I do. Or
maybe I should just stick to voice and rework all the 7.X stuff...

Thanks, I'm kind of some crossroads and some input would help.
