Since the requirement is to deny any multicast group whose first octet is 226,
227, 228
I would have it set up as follows:
#range 226.0.0.0 2.255.255.255
The solution in the DSG is:
#range 226.0.0.0 228.255.255.255
Can someone help clarify?
