Cesar - Electronic updates for our materials are free to existing customers. We only charge (pass down the costs) for various hard costs.

I'd like to point something out to everyone - when most companies in different markets release an entirely updated version - typically there is *not* a *free* update.

Example - when Microsoft 7 came out - Vista users didn't get the updated version for free. Another example - if you take a class from most lower-level Cisco, Microsoft, VMWare (and other) training companies - you can *not* take the class again for *free* if the vendor changes the exam. These are just common business practices and how companies continue to drive revenue and stay afloat.

With that being said - It's extremely difficult to continue bringing in revenue to pay industry-leading team members and top notch developers when massive (and free) updates are given out - and also when so much pirating is happening (not average employees - I'm talking fulltime engineers who are the best in the world - and trust me, I've had almost every *big name* work for me at one time or another - and my definition of *best in the world* is quite different than some others - my standards are quite higher than most - and I don't employ people because they're *a household name* - it will be quite obvious when our products are completed. It should also be obvious because our success story list has grown by over 400 the last year and cour closest competitor's list grew by less than half of that - there are other indicators, but I won't get into that right now.).

So - in a nutshell - when a hard cost is seen (by us) such a CDs, DVDs, DVD inserts and replicating / packaging / shipping fees (on top of our high development costs) - these very minor costs are passed down to customers who are receiving this massively overhauled (essentially rewritten) material for *free*.

I cringe when people complain about these trivial costs when they're getting such a massively improved product for (essentially) no cost.

Please try to realize the big picture here - we're by no means collecting a ton of money from you and / or taking advantage of this situation - in fact, quite the opposite.

Also - one more thing (since I'm on such a roll) - this stuff doesn't get developed overnight. Some competitors slap some basic stuff into their old content and call it updated. Some competitors have materials that are developed with extremely low quality (various video products, etc). We are focusing on producing *top notch* material that's the best on the market - therefore - the time to produce the initial material might be slightly longer than most people anticipate. I can tell you - and my instructors and developers will tell you how demanding I am - but also how quickly I want material produced. I've had to compromise and give up fast timelines in order to get the quality of material that I demand and our customers deserve. So - also know that we're not sitting around blowing off new material development - that's also quite the opposite.

Ok - enough for now. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, gang! ;-)

Dude, what I understand is that exist FTP/SFTP Servers where you can download the material that was previously paid without to pay extra 140$ for shipping, you know? When we paid for our pack, it included updates and nobody tells me that I would have to pay extra money to obtain it. I think my complaint is clearly fair.

Cesar.

Dude,

Try do understand that IPexpert pay someone to burn and pack the DVD for you (that's $50) also for shipping cost ($90) I guess it's normal because IPexpert use other logistic company service like FedEx or DHL to deliver the goods to your home :)

Sorry I don't mean to be rude ^__^

Hello,

I was following Wayne indications but, when I was going to apply the 50$ charge, appears another charge about Shipping Charge, 90$ more. Total, 140$. What kind of joke is this? Could anybody explain me?

Thanks,
Cesar.

Hi,

I have forgoten to say that I paid for the BLS last year. So I need the
update about version4. If I'm not wrong, I have to pay just only the
delivery but, what I have to do to ask for it?

Thanks,
