I should also state that if you do modify the K values you will need to do so
on ALL of your routers. One of the conditions to forming a neighborship with
your peers is that the K values match.

Just to add with what Abel stated you can influence the EIGRP metrics using a
few different approaches. You have the ability to change the bandwidth, delay,
administrative distance, and you can also use an offset list as well, depending
upon your lab scenario.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk365/technologies_tech_note09186a00800c2d96.shtml

If you were asked to do so you could also change this using the metric weights
command under EIGRP. For example, if the lab asked you to prefer bandwidth over
delay you could use the following command under EIGRP

R9(config)#router eigrp 2
R9(config-router)#metric weights 0 2 0 1 0 0

Hope this helps!
Thx

Changin by default the BW and Delay in the network can help you to influence
the traffic path.

By default EIGRP uses BW and Delay for Metic composition (K1 and K3 Value), to
change with value EIGRP use just change the default under the router process
with the weight metric command (K0 for TOS, no used, K1 BW, K2 Load, K3 Delay,
k4 Reability and K5 MTU) you can verify this with show ip protocols.

The metric is compound depending the K value in use, There a formula to
calculate the value of the metric value but I don't have my notes at hand.
