i just want to say
i have a connectivity like this ;

------------router---------------
               |
               |
-----------l3 switch-------------------
               |
               |
----------l2 switches----------------

i m using 12 vlans and intervlan routing is being performed by l3 switch and
access list has been implemented in l3 switch

now tell me that

whichone device is in core layer
whichone device is in distribution layer
i know about the access layer.
i m so much confuse in this model becoz i dont know the clear functions of
the distribution and core layer
