Hi Narenda, Get the CCNA cisco books, CCNP cisco book, and it will all be explained to you. By your drawing, usually the access layer is the layer 2 switch, where all the end hosts connect to. The access switches in return connect to the distribution switches, and the distribution switches to the core, simplistically said. The router in your picture would probably be a heavy duty l3 or l2 switch though.
