I've watched it and been to RTP and SJ. You aren't allowed to touch the equipment. Not since they killed the two day lab about ten years ago.

A) I haven't been with the new troubleshooting setup so I'm not sure how IOU plays
B) I've never heard of anyone asking a proctor

I'd love to hear some real world feedback on this.

Might be worth having a look at the CCIE Lab Demo video that Cisco put out there a while back.

The screen at around 3:43 seems to suggest that a hard reload is possible.

No sir. The racks are not even local depending on where you are
taking the lab. I guess if you locked yourself out you could ask
the proctor but I'm not sure what his/her answer would be. Not
sure I would enjoy receiving that answer. :)

        Hi,

I was more thinking a power off / power on...

I'm asking because today I was doing some debug and I forgot
the ospf timer were quite aggressive... I haven't been able to
stop the debug, even by typing blindly undebug all. The only
option I've found was to shutdown the router and restart it...

        Regards,
        Christophe

as in "reload"? Yes. you can write your config to memory
and reload. It's actually recommended by many folks to be
done before lunchtime for validation purposes but I know
other folks don't do it and are still fine. Your call.

                Hi,

Is it possible to power-cycle our equipments in the LAB?
