OTV is also supported in the ASR's with the newest code release.

No idea of the stability of it, will find out in a month or so when our gear 
gets in.

Hi CCIE Kid,

OTV is Overlay Transport Virtualization. You need Nexus switch to implement 
this. The key advantage its got over others is the ability to restrict flooding 
to each site.

The reason "why" would anyone do that is the reason that many of us are looking 
for in bewilderment. I guess because of VMware ;-). In any case, that
