We don't have any definitive answer at this moment. This discussion comes up every couple of months and I believe I explained in detail last time some of the technical challenges involved, which include but are not limited to an increased wear-and-tear on equipment (which would have to be reloaded every 4 instead of 8 hours) and increased support costs (we'd have to have our support techs on standby 2x as much) and quite a few others. With all that in mind, 4-hour slot would very likely bring an increase in cost of rack rental and noone really wants that.
What I highly recommend is that you keep track on our Facebook, Twitter and blog deals. Every couple of weeks we have 50% discounts going on. You book 8-hour slot and simply use half of it. I know it's not a solution, but it's a good workaround. -- Marko Milivojevic - CCIE #18427 (SP R&S) Senior CCIE Instructor - IPexpert On Fri, Apr 6, 2012 at 02:37, Marian Franc <[email protected]> wrote: > hello Marko, > > I received a number of responses from fellow students, and they all > expressed they would like to have an option for booking the rack for > smaller time slots than 8 hours.
