I'm not going to mention any other vendors, but if people really want to be 
able to get rack time in blocks less than 8 hours, there are other vendors out 
there.  There is even one vendor who, at one time, offered the IPExpert rack 
layout on their rack rentals, though I think that stopped when Proctor Labs 
stood up their racks.  Even so, that same vendor now offers rack time at about 
$1.50/hr.  If you are just looking for general rack time, this may be a 
solution, at least until Proctor Labs offers blocks smaller than 8 hours.

Marko, correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe another reason Proctor Labs was 
setup to be used in 8-hour blocks was that it was expected people would be 
logging on to practice full lab scenarios, thus people were expected to need 
the amount of time that a lab would take.
