1. I have configured unequal load balancing across fe10mbps & serial1544mbps links and I can see the traffic share count for the appropriate destination networks as being load balanced on the routers where I have variance configured, however from R1 and R5 respectively in the trace I cannot see ever the serial link being returned on the icmp echo path
topology R1 fe10mbps R2 fe10mbps R3 fe10mbps & serial 1544mbps R4 fe10mbps R5 scenario on R3 & R4 reaching opposite ends I can see trace showing both fe10mbps & 1544mbps being utilised however from R1 & R5 this only shows the fe10mbps from R3>R4 or R4>R3 being utilized 2.im sure this has been discussed over but I cannot figure out how we get the advertised distance figure (sometimes called reported distance) I understand fully the FD feasible distance and my k value calculations always match be it serial, ethernet or loopback but it seems the AD or RD is always adding 25600 per hop _______________________________________________ For more information regarding industry leading CCIE Lab training, please visit www.ipexpert.com Are you a CCNP or CCIE and looking for a job?
