1. I have configured unequal load balancing across fe10mbps &
serial1544mbps links and I can see the traffic share count for the
appropriate destination networks as being load balanced on the routers
where I have variance configured, however from R1 and R5 respectively in
the trace I cannot see ever the serial link being returned on the icmp echo
path

topology
R1 fe10mbps R2 fe10mbps R3 fe10mbps & serial 1544mbps R4 fe10mbps R5

scenario
on R3 & R4 reaching opposite ends I can see trace showing both fe10mbps &
1544mbps being utilised however from R1 & R5 this only shows the fe10mbps
from R3>R4 or R4>R3 being utilized

2.im sure this has been discussed over but I cannot figure out how we get
the advertised distance figure (sometimes called reported distance) I
understand fully the FD feasible distance and my k value calculations
always match be it serial, ethernet or loopback but it seems the AD or RD
is always adding 25600 per hop
