It depends on if there are any restrictions to the lab.  I would not
recommend configuring ipv4 peerings if they are only asking for vpnv4 or
multicast peers.  Only configure what is asked.  You won¹t get any bonus
points for doing it and it could end up costing you if you overlooked a
restriction.
