I saw a switching image in there somewhere. They'll work out the
shortcomings before the release, I'm sure.

The reason L2IOU perceivably "doesn't wok" is the lack of ASIC and L1
emulation. Those can be addressed given some development effort and from
what I see, there is such a thing (effort) going on in Cisco.

I semi-expected it to be already available, though.
