I think the softphone version has limitation for miss/receive calls +dialing, so it won't show up in the directory. I use hardphone for my own lab and also hardware vrack sessions, so I don't have much experiences with softphone. But you might have to use CUPC softphone version to test with +dialing, since it has capability for +dialing directly.
