Thanks I have calculated the contacts with CCP4 or CNS. I will confirm them individually if that within van der Waals radius.

Hi Jiamu, Different atoms have different nonbonded radii also called van der Waals radii. So it is impossible that give a definite dsitance limit. Meanwhile fixed values cannot be given for these atoms because they depend on the measuring technique and the molecule. However, some useful are listed below: H-------1.2 C-------1.7 N-------1.5 O-------1.4 P-------1.9 Xiang Xu BIDMC Harvard Medical School [EMAIL PROTECTED] >> >> On Jan 15, 2007, at 16:21, Jiamu Du wrote: >> >> > Dear All: >> > Another question is that after I find the contact information, how >> > to define a dsitance limit commonly? >> > Which limit can be accepted? >> > Thanks. >> > >> > Jiamu Du >> > Key Laboratory of Proteomics >> > Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology Shanghai Institutes for >> > Biological Sciences >> > Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) >> >> > > > -- > Jiamu Du > Key Laboratory of Proteomics > Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology Shanghai Institutes for > Biological Sciences > Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) >
