If I had this information yesterday I would have tested the new
version for some production on my various ATAPI and SCSI writers, since
I'm burning some backup and transfer CDs today. Thank you for a useful
answer!
I have software which works, however, so I used that.

Love InMac blanks, they seem to be readable even on systems with the
oldest crappy CD drives... I have to support a system with a 2x drive
which lacks ATAPI and CDDA, but it will read data CDs on the "right
media."
