Hi D. I have been using two Mitsumi CR-4804TE for 2 1/2 years now, both doing a great job up to now. The Mitsumi CR-480ATE was also the best one in the CHIP (german magazine) test in March 2002 (however the one with the best price/quality ratio was the Aopen CRW2440). So if I had to buy a new recorder right now, I'd propably stay with Mitsumi.
