I am trying to find the reason for a malfunction that could create problems

My build systems works in a way as people would expect (e.g. only call "make").
It works better and for more platforms than the unusual hack used by other

The malfunctions are already located: they are caused by a badly maintained
package called "autoconf", so what is your problem?
