It was the first time that I can remember that dispersed rallyists took refuge at the Sto. Domingo Compound (I dispersed myself all the way to UST walking.). The second time was the June or July 2004 FPJ rally when I was on the stage truck which went first to PLDT then to Mayon St (I ended up at the FPJ studios.). re my E

During GMA's Admin, Mandaluyong City would reject and the Mandaluyong PNP as well as its superior the EPD would recommend the rejection of applications for permits to march, picket or rally using the EDSA Shrine's opposition to such activities as their excuse. Be careful that your noise barrage does not get compared with that of April 6, 1978. A vigil gets a lenghtier media coverage than a usual rally. It is more difficult to educate with a big but short rally.
