Yeah, me too (so many times) -- thought they said "get a Half-Life" <g>.
Got to the point where sometimes for fun I turn on God mode and attack the
baddies with the crowbar (or, in OpFor with the pipe wrench). thump thump
thump thump SPLAT.
Am eagerly waiting for Half-Life 2 but understand "publisher" problems are
delaying it, will make do in the meantime with this next expansion pack.
And, I'm afraid the ability to apply the hi-res pack to the earlier editions
will force me to go play them all over again <sigh>.

Don't know about Roberta and her crew up in the mountains at Coarsegold, CA,
but do know that their company, Sierra, was bought by Havas Intl.
And <damn> but this mess and some sloppily-written contracts (I've heard)
are delaying the release of Half-Life 2 !!
I WANT THAT GAME !!! But there's some hope in the meantime: a new add-on
called Half-Life: Blue Shift is coming in June. (You play from the
perspective of one of the security guards.)
Blue Shift also contains an add-on "high definition pack" which will greatly
improve the graphics of the original Half-Life, Half-Life Opposing Force,
and Half-Life Counter-Strike.
Any Half-Life players on the list??
