My final comment on this subject is that before you go bashing this fine
state in which I was born and raised, go ask your local supervisor of
elections and state attorney general how they would have fared if the
spotlight had been on them instead of on Florida.  If they're honest,
they'll be like the attorney general in Georgia, who admitted that Georgia
was just as bad or worse.  The only difference was that the spotlight
wasn't on them.

At least we fixed the problems with our elections system during the last
legislative session, something most states didn't bother to do.  It's over,
it's old news, quit bitching and get on with life.  I don't find it funny
either, because I'm sick of hearing about it.

Yep - I heard that one also.  There are also a few new books on the subject
that accuse the Supreme Court of mishandling the case
(even to the point of being criminal).  Oh well, only another 3 1/2 years
or so...
