Talking about the election, it would appear that according to reports in
today's Washington Posts, the Florida Commissioner of Elections apparently
was very involved in rejecting mail in ballots from the military that were
going to Democratic precincts. This did not sound like a fair and impartial
treatment as she claimed following the election.
Moreover I think it very reprehensible that several of the Supreme Court
Justices (Kennedy, Scalia, and Thomas for example) did not recuse themselves
from the decision, since they had relatives who were working directly for
the George W. Bush election campaign committee.
It was a very tainted election.
