Do you mean D-Day?

Regardless its good to hear from you Tim. We did miss you at CFUN04.

As for Afghanistan, it was very much a justifiable war. Its a damn
pity though that Bush decided to get distracted with Iraq and not
finish the job in Afghanistan. Right now the Afghani president is
pleading for more ISF / NATO troop so that the elections can be held
on time and in relative safety. The Taliban and their allies are
scared of this election and do not want it to take place. That's why
lately they've been focusing on the election workers and attacking
those in the areas where the Taliban is active. Pehaps the best way of
helping to defeat the Taliban forces is to make sure this is a very
successful national election.
