well wait a second, is there a "natural food chain" or is it "God intended"
?

because i'll gaurantee you this, Nature alone doesn't care two licks about
what is humane, or how something suffers before it dies.

The argument generally goes that human's are the only animal advanced enough
to understand what it means to act "humanely", as such it is our
responsibility to do so.  But where does that responsibility come from? Most
point to God, because Nature alone bestows no responsibility on us
whatsoever, besides survive, survive, survive.

To me it does. I believe that there is a natural food chain/circle of
predators and prey. I believe that God intended for animals to sustain
themselves upon other animals.

Where the line becomed blurred or, in this case, stomped on, is when
animals are treated cruelly their whole lives, only to end at a torturous,
painful death.

It's like asking someone, would you rather be shot in the head, or dipped
in boiling water until you die? Which is more humane?
