seeing this but the in-depth analysis I have looked at was from the
Gore perspective so I could well have missed something. Though really,
in ten words or less it all boils down to this:

If he was going to ask for a recount he should have asked for a
statewide recount

Sounds like you agree with me on that?

You are correct, I was reading the wrong set of statutes, I followed a link
from a law school site, guess I should have looked more closely.

I do remember that being one of the items that was cited during the media
coverage of the recounts, Gonna have to look for that.

On the statute...thank you. But doesnt this "entire geographic
jurisdiction" language apply to local elections? Actually, though, it
doesn't matter, because that's the 2003 law, presumably amended in an
effort to resolve some of the problems of 2000. The 2000 law
