Yeah, I know what you mean. 

I think it's good to be passionate about politics, but for the six
months leading up to the election in Australia you could not open a
paper, turn or the radio or TV without all the same crap being
endlessly rehashed.

Now in the USA where things are in bigger proportions, I'm sure its
even more frustrating.
