I don't think the ad was targeted to you demographically. Of course it is not
Christian. It is marketing. It hits all of the high points.

1. Flattery. "you are a good Christian. So good that we here at the Christian
lending network KNOW you are a good Christian."
2. Inflated claims. "Discounted mortgages".
3. Stereotypes. "All good Christians own their own home. Don't you?"
4. Stereotypes. "You can trust us, we are Christians. See, it is even in our
name."
5. Prejudice. "Get a loan from a Christian. We all know who owns those OTHER
banks. Wink wink."
6. Inclusion. "Borrow from our network, and become part of a larger family."

How could one sentence do so much?

In the words of another good ad campaign, "Brilliant!"

Well to start, I'm not a Christian. Second I dislike scams of all
sorts. Moreover according to classic Christian theology, usury is not
allowed. Therefore this is not christian.
