It is the best set of films of any length that I can think of, most 4 hour movies are starting to drag a bit by the end, and most series have at least one bad film in there somewhere but the lord of the rings was excellent all round.
It must be said that all fans have there gripes about bits that were missed out from the books, and I have 2 that I wish had been included. 1) Tom Bombadil is a superb caracter and could have been an amusing addition. 2) The end of Return Of The King was missing a good 30-60 minutes of story about Saruman and the shire. What bits do you wish had been included? -- Jay -----Original Message----- From: Raymond Camden [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 16 December 2004 11:58 To: CF-Community Subject: Re: "Return of the King" Extended Edition Same here. On another note, I can think of no other 4 hours + movie that is such a pleasure to sit through. The entire series has just been.... I don't know - a whole level about most films.
