Jerry I understand it just fine thank you. I understand that it is a tax I pay so old folks who have more money than I do can get a check they don't need. I understand that my chances of ever getting my money out of it are piss-poor to none. Yes, in theory you get out what you put in but if you believe that all I can say is hahahahah and would you like to buy a bridge?
I'd welcome the opportunity to invest my own Social Security but I am sure that for my own good I'll be obliged to choose from amongst three or four of W's largest campaign contributors.
