I don't agree with that: 1.) MIT wants people who naturally tinker with robots, not begrudgingly do it to get into the school (that's what Harvard is for :) The legal saying for your statement is, "the law is an ass." That is, you're violating the intention of the rule. 2.) A private school has the right to admit who they want for whatever reason they want IMO. Look at it this way: do you favor the gov't banning smoking at restaurants or do you think restaurants should be able to choose and let the market decide? I bet you'd say let the market decide. That's the same as with schools - if a school wants to be a "black school", let them. Personal anecdote: I can almost always tell you where someone went to B school. Here's the bigot list off the top of my head: Harvard: flaky, weirdos U Chicago: math geeks Wharton: normal Tuck: Jocks Kellogg: Pretty boys & girls None of these are by race, notice, but all of the schools must be discriminating because I can call it almost every time and I'm not alone. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:144300 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
