In IE: "Tools" > "Options" > "Security" > "Custom Level" Then find the "Scripting" group and "Disable" "Active Scripting" Note that most IE Shells have shortcuts to this: in AvantBrowser, for example, you got to "Tools" > "Disable Scripts". It's also much easier in FireFox and Operra than in IE. Lastly many firewall programs can also disable script in pages.
