Let us know how it goes. I built a 500 sq ft workshop in the backyard. When I went for my permit I got bounced around from window 4 to window 11 to window 7 etc.. one of those windows was a check for existing easements. It only took a few moments of someone pulling records and comparing maps from the original builder, county property layout, utility easements, sewer easements etc... 15 minutes later I was on to the next window.

The procedure can be different from location to location but I would start with the building dept. They should know who to check with. -----Original Message----- From: John Stanley [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, April 11, 2005 9:29 AM To: CF-Community Subject: Real Estate and Easements Anyone know how to determine what if any easements exist for a piece of property?
